Campbell Bethwaite, SimpleFinance Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing partner of RedStone Capital, gave a speech at the FINOPOLIS 2019 (Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies)

Campbell Bethwaite told an audience about the innovation solutions for SMEs at a panel discussion of the “FinTech in details: new opportunities for SMEs” section.

“Today, domestic financial technologies sphere meets new players, promising financial tools and products. Besides, the regulator launches initiatives to support industry development” – Campbell emphasized. 

Comparing to Russia, oversees SMEs are developing in a fully different way. 

Credit availability and smart infrastructure are the main steps to naturally grow SMEs. Besides, platform based solutions marketplaces are aimed to consolidate the best products and provide SMEs with the necessary access. 

The key thing here is to analyze the world best practice and top trends to offer a product before the entrepreneur figure out in reality that he needs the product, ”said Campbell Bethwaite.

In conclusion of his speech, the head of RedStone Capital noticed that in the nearest future financial institutions, banks and funds will become the basis for platforms that will be owners of infrastructure and customers.
