Measures to support small and medium-sized businesses operating under franchising concept has been for the first time introduced in Moscow.

Alexander Smolin, CEO of SB Group, who supervises the development of SafeBox self-storage network commented the initiative in the following way: “Today there are three trends at the market. The first one is the state’s activity in supporting and regulating various business areas, including taxation, support measures and other preferences.

The second trend – representatives of small and medium-sized businesses with ever increasing frequency create a request for support from holding companies, owners of known brands, as this gives small businesses the support in the market both among consumers and at the state level.

The third trend is – very young generation, who wants to realize their potential, but are forced to think about the economics of their undertakings, as the economic situation does not allow them to be dive into creativity process.

Today, it is economically easier and safer for entrepreneurs and startupers to start their projects “under the wing of a strong franchisor” in order to share the difficulties or what’s even better – to evade them to minimize losses. We believe that this is a good help to those who are going to start their own business and are not ready to adapt various corporate standards, the support to the initiative with a certain level of security for the investment of both parties. And here we get the mutual interest of all market participants, ”- Alexander added.
